Ingredients:
- 4 egg whites (Room Temperature)
- Pinch of Salt
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1/4 tsp cream of tartar
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla or LOrann essence of your choice (Optional)
- Americolor Gel Coloring (Optional)
Instructions:
Step 1: Preheat Oven to 275oF (140oC)
Step 2: Line Baking Sheet with Parchment paper
Step 3: Use an electric mixer to whisk egg whites and salt until frothy.
Step 4: add cream of tartar and beat until soft peaks form.
Step 5 Gradually beat in Sugar 1 tbsp at a time until sugar dissolve and stiff Glossy Peaks form.
Step 6: Beat in Vanilla or LOrann and color of your choice.
Exemples - I used Super Red Gel to decorate the side of my meringues and used Bubble Gum Flavoring from LOrann.
Step
7: Pipe your design meringue cookies on baking sheet and bake for 30 to
35 mintes at 275oC (or until they are completely dry)
Cool Completely on wire racks.
You can even pipe your designs on Printed Sugar Stamps and bake them to reveal a surprise underneath. (Yes Sugar Stamps go in the oven)
